Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant capable of handling a full set of accounts independently. The successful candidate will manage the complete accounting cycle — from data entry and journal postings through to the preparation of financial statements — and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements. This role suits a hands-on accountant who is comfortable owning the month-end and year-end closing process with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities Full Set Accounting

Handle the full set of accounts independently, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).

Record and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.

Perform month-end and year-end closing, ensuring all entries are completed within reporting deadlines.

Prepare the full set of financial statements — Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial/variance reports for management review.

Reconciliation & Controls

Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile intercompany, debtor and creditor accounts.

Maintain the fixed asset register and compute depreciation.

Monitor cash flow, and manage collections and supplier payments.

Ensure proper documentation and maintain orderly accounting records and filing.

Compliance & Statutory

Ensure compliance with MFRS / MPERS and the Companies Act 2016.

Manage LHDN e-Invoicing (MyInvois) issuance, validation and reconciliation.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and bankers as required.

Support the preparation of tax computations and corporate tax filing.

Budgeting & Support

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Support process improvements and the implementation/maintenance of accounting systems.

Undertake ad-hoc finance assignments as directed by management.

Requirements Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma / Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent.

Minimum [2–4] years of relevant experience handling full set accounts.

Added Advantage

Experience in Retail and Wholesales Industries.

Experience managing accounts for multiple entities or a group of companies.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
