Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize strong negotiation skills to establish mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining positive and long-term supplier relationships.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, reliability, and compliance with required quality standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve supply shortages, delivery delays, or quality issues to maintain uninterrupted production and service levels.
• Develop and implement supplier improvement initiatives focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and delivery performance optimization.
• Accurately determine material requirements and generate Purchase Orders with correct quantities and pricing, ensuring compliance with lead times and company procurement policies upon receipt of purchase requests.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, favorable delivery schedules, appropriate minimum order quantities, and payment terms aligned with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure products consistently meet required quality standards and are delivered according to agreed timelines and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate proactively with internal departments, including production and warehouse teams, to ensure timely procurement, proper quality control, efficient storage, and on-schedule delivery of goods.
• Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a similar role within the fittings & accessories, manufacturing, or interior design industries is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation skills and resourcefulness in sourcing new suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with suppliers, internal customers, and inventory planning.
• Detail-oriented with a quick learning ability.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves frequent communication with suppliers from China.
• Available to start immediately or within one month's notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
