We are looking for an experienced C# .NET, MS Sql Server Full Stack Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will work on both Windows desktop applications and web applications, helping our customer solve complex engineering challenges efficiently.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging application issues, both on the server-side and for end-users, ensuring that systems are performing optimally and providing a seamless experience for users.

You will collaborate closely with our development team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Windows Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain Windows and web applications using C# .NET, ensuring optimal functionality, scalability, and user experience.
• Develop user interfaces (UI) that are responsive, intuitive, and work seamlessly across both desktop and web platforms.
• Implement complex business logic, form validations, and ensure smooth data communication between the front-end and the back-end systems.

MS SQL Database Management:

• Develop and maintain MS SQL Server databases, including creating stored procedures, triggers, and views to support both desktop and web applications.
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure data retrieval is efficient and scalable for both client-side and server-side processes.
• Ensure proper data integrity, backups, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and improve the efficiency of queries and data transactions.

API Integration

• Integration with other software external APIs for data exchange to exchange data between internal applications and third-party software.

Maintenance of Existing Systems:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for both Windows and Web applications, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and security updates.
• Refactor and update legacy code to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Ensure backward compatibility of older versions while updating to newer technologies and frameworks.
• Apply patches and update components to ensure applications remain secure and functional.

Troubleshooting & Debugging:

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows applications, web apps, and SQL Server.
• Debug application errors that affect end users, both client-side (UI issues, functionality bugs) and server-side (database access, API issues).
• Work directly with end users to troubleshoot installation issues, user interface bugs, or performance problems and provide timely solutions.
• Use tools like Microsoft, Visual Studio and browser developer tools to debug application issues across platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and integration problems.
• Implement logging and monitoring for both Windows applications to proactively detect and resolve issues.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Test installer functionality and system compatibility.
• Validate environment setup for all team members to prevent inconsistencies.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for Windows and Web applications, including architecture, database schema, deployment processes, and known issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps, common issues, and solutions for end users and internal teams.
• Provide detailed reports and status updates on issue resolution, application improvements, and system maintenance.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other developers, IT, sales, technical support, customer to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration between Windows apps, and back-end systems.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the team follows best practices in terms of development, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills:

• Proficient in C# and developing window desktop and web applications.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, ability to write basic SQL queries.
• Experience with version control tools like Git or similar.
• Knowledge of API development and integration with web and desktop applications.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for complex issues across different layers of an application (UI, business logic, database).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
