• You will own the technical direction of the automotive operations SaaS platform, ensuring its architecture remains robust, scalable, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• You will maintain production codebases, actively contributing hands-on expertise rather than serving solely in an advisory capacity.
• You will define reusable architectural patterns that can be leveraged across future industry-specific SaaS products, streamlining development processes.
• You will evolve PostgreSQL/Prisma schemas, manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and optimise operational workflows for efficiency and security.
• You will guide Docker-based release processes, enhance observability practices, and design seamless integration and synchronisation strategies with external systems such as government agencies and banking platforms.
• You will review pull requests with attention to detail, providing constructive feedback that supports developer growth and upholds high coding standards.
• You will mentor developers at various stages of their careers, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where knowledge is freely shared.
• You will ensure API and system integrations are reliable, secure, and well-documented to facilitate smooth interactions between internal modules and third-party services.
• You will champion best practices in AI-assisted development by leveraging hands-on experience to improve productivity and solution quality.
• You will apply strong Linux administration skills to maintain stable environments for development, testing, and production deployments.

What you bring:

To excel as a Solution Architect in this environment, you bring proven experience developing complex web applications at scale-ideally within operationally intensive industries like automotive services or logistics. Your technical toolkit includes advanced JavaScript frameworks such as React and Next.js alongside solid backend skills centred around PostgreSQL database management. You are comfortable navigating Dockerised deployments in Linux environments while ensuring robust authentication protocols are always enforced. Your interpersonal skills shine when mentoring others; you thrive on supporting colleagues' growth through thoughtful feedback and collaborative problem-solving. Experience integrating APIs with external partners demonstrates your ability to connect disparate systems securely. • You have at least six years' experience building production web applications with three or more years spent as an architect or technical lead guiding teams through complex projects.
• Your proficiency with TypeScript, React (including Next.js App Router), enables you to deliver responsive user interfaces and maintainable front-end architectures.
• You possess deep knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design including migrations and performance tuning for large-scale operational databases.
• Your experience includes implementing authentication mechanisms such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) within Dockerised production deployments.
• You have worked extensively on workflow-heavy B2B or operational SaaS platforms where reliability and scalability are paramount.
• Your background includes designing robust API integrations with external systems such as government databases or financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools allows you to accelerate delivery without compromising quality or security.
• Strong Linux administration skills enable you to manage server environments efficiently across development pipelines.
• It would be advantageous if you have exposure to Microsoft Azure or Digital Ocean cloud hosting environments as well as mobile app development or Wordpress integration.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare or similar cloud hosting technologies would further enhance your ability to deliver resilient solutions.
