- Supervise daily operations of the Safety & Security Department.
- Monitor all security personnel and ensure duties are carried out according to SOPs.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel/property and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas are properly controlled.
- Monitor CCTV systems and investigate suspicious activities.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, incidents, accidents, and security breaches.
- Lead the initial response to fire alarms and emergency situations.
- Conduct investigations into incidents, thefts, losses, and guest complaints.
- Prepare incident, accident, and occurrence reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and fire regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire protection systems and life safety equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams on safety-related defects and repairs.
- Assist in developing and updating emergency response procedures.
- Conduct safety and security awareness training for employees.
- Organize and participate in fire drills and emergency exercises.
- Monitor contractor and visitor access control procedures.
- Ensure proper key control and master key management.
- Monitor loading bay, receiving area, and staff entrances for security compliance.
- Assist in crowd control during events, VIP visits, and high-occupancy periods.
- Liaise with government authorities, police, fire department, and emergency services when required.
- Ensure workplace safety standards are maintained throughout the property.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor lost-and-found procedures and maintain records.
- Verify that security logs, patrol reports, and shift reports are accurately completed.
- Investigate workplace injuries and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all safety signage and emergency information are properly displayed.
- Manage shift handovers and brief security officers on daily activities.
- Assist the Safety & Security Manager in departmental administration and planning.
- Monitor compliance with hotel policies, rules, and regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Safety & Security Manager.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Banting: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)
