Are you passionate about cybersecurity, information security, and protecting digital assets? BINTARA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Solutions - Cybersecurity Intern to join our Technical Solutions team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, risk management, and IT security best practices within a professional technology services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the security of IT systems, networks, and devices.
• Support vulnerability assessments, security checks, and risk identification activities.
• Assist in reviewing system logs and security alerts to identify potential threats or suspicious activities.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist in conducting security awareness initiatives and user education programmes.
• Help maintain security documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Support endpoint security, access control, and user account management activities.
• Assist in investigating and documenting security incidents under supervision.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

Applicants must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and security controls.
• Familiar with networking concepts, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity tools, firewalls, antivirus solutions, or security monitoring tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and social engineering.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, or risk management concepts is an advantage.
