Retail & E-Commerce Internship

Location: Cyberjaya, Selangor
Work Arrangement: Fully On-Site

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Retail & E-Commerce Executive to support our retail, online sales, customer service, and marketing activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to e-commerce operations, retail management, digital marketing, inventory control, and customer engagement within the baking and specialty retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Operations

• Manage and process orders across e-commerce platforms including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Facebook, and the company website.
• Maintain and update product listings, pricing, inventory levels, descriptions, and product images.
• Monitor online store performance and report website or platform-related issues.

Order Fulfillment & Customer Service

• Coordinate customer orders from placement to delivery.
• Liaise with logistics partners to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries through online, phone, and in-store channels.
• Handle customer feedback and provide after-sales support when required.

Retail Operations & Sales Support

• Assist with daily retail operations, including merchandising, shelf replenishment, and product displays.
• Process in-store sales transactions using POS systems.
• Promote products, special offers, and ongoing promotional campaigns.
• Recommend suitable baking ingredients, tools, and equipment based on customer needs.

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items.
• Assist with stock receiving, inventory updates, stock counts, and replenishment activities.
• Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO) and monitor product expiry dates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support loss prevention initiatives.

Social Media & Marketing Support

• Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms, including product highlights, baking tips, photos, and short-form videos.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and digital advertising initiatives.
• Capture and organize content for online and offline marketing efforts.

Administrative & Reporting

• Prepare invoices, receipts, delivery orders, and packing documentation.
• Maintain organized records of customer transactions, inventory updates, and operational activities.
• Assist in preparing sales, inventory, and performance reports.

Events & Customer Engagement

• Support workshops, product demonstrations, promotional events, and customer engagement activities.
• Assist with event setup, registration, customer interaction, and post-event reporting.

Team Collaboration & Store Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards within the retail and packing areas.
• Work closely with retail, inventory, and marketing teams to support business objectives.
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, E-Commerce, or a related field.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.
• Interest in e-commerce, retail operations, digital marketing, or the baking industry is an added advantage.
• Interns and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Internship, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
