Accounts Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the company.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government authorities.

• Ensure compliance with SST, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.

• Monitor and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and financial procedures.

• Assist management in financial analysis, cost control, and business planning.

• Support annual audit activities and ensure audit schedules are prepared on time.

• Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in an audit firm is required.

• Prior working experience in a listed company will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Leadership experience in managing a team is preferred.
