Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Deployment Engineer to lead the deployment, commissioning, and optimization of Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV) systems in real-world environments. You will be responsible for configuring, tuning, testing, and supporting autonomous rover platforms to ensure reliable and safe operations across agricultural, industrial, and commercial applications.

What You Will Do:

• Deploy, configure, and commission AGV systems at customer sites.
• Set up and validate autopilot platforms such as ArduPilot, ArduRover, and PX4.
• Perform system calibration, testing, and field acceptance validation.
• Ensure stable and safe autonomous operations before project handover.
• Tune PID controllers for steering, throttle, braking, and skid-steer systems.
• Optimize navigation and control parameters based on terrain, traction, and operational requirements.
• Configure and validate RTK-GNSS systems for high-precision positioning.
• Improve localization performance through sensor fusion and system tuning.
• Integrate and calibrate sensors including IMUs, RTK-GNSS, LiDAR, radar, wheel encoders, and odometry systems.
• Diagnose and resolve communication issues across CAN, UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces.
• Validate obstacle avoidance, navigation, and path-following performance.
• Conduct system demonstrations, trials, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field-level operational issues.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
• Provide structured feedback to support continuous product enhancement.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

• Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in robotics deployment, autonomous vehicles, AGVs, UAVs, or related systems.
• Hands-on experience with ArduPilot, ArduRover, PX4, or similar autonomous navigation platforms.
• Strong understanding of PID tuning, control systems, and autonomous vehicle behaviour.
• Experience working with RTK-GNSS systems and high-precision positioning technologies.
• Knowledge of sensor fusion, localization, navigation, and obstacle avoidance systems.
• Familiarity with communication protocols including CAN, UART, I2C, and SPI.
• Basic programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work in outdoor field environments when required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
