Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on exposure to various HR functions including recruitment, training, employee engagement, and HR operations. This internship offers a structured learning experience and the opportunity to work closely with HR professionals on real business projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Orientation & Onboarding
- Assist in company and group orientation activities for new employees.
- Support HR briefings covering recruitment, training, engagement, and administration.
- Assist in coordinating office setup, IT arrangements, and buddy assignments.
- Support introductions to HR policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with Environment, Safety & Health (ESH) briefing arrangements.
Recruitment Support
- Assist in coordinating Manpower Requisition Forms (MRF) and updating Job Descriptions.
- Support job postings on recruitment platforms such as JobStreet, LinkedIn, Hiredly, and MyNEXT.
- Assist with interview scheduling and candidate coordination.
- Maintain and update the recruitment tracker.
- Support basic CV screening under guidance.
- Assist with onboarding preparation including bank letters and new hire announcements.
- Support career fairs and recruitment drives.
Training & Development
- Assist with training attendance tracking and training record management.
- Support preparation of training materials and documentation.
- Organize training records and files on the HR shared drive.
- Assist in preparing training evaluation forms and compiling feedback.
- Support updates to training content on the intranet.
Employee Engagement
- Assist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives such as festive celebrations and wellness programs.
- Support preparation of internal communication materials and posters.
- Assist in event coordination including attendance tracking and photography.
- Support major events such as Annual Dinner, festive celebrations, and employee engagement initiatives.
HR Operations
- Assist in checking Micare bills and enrolment records.
- Support preparation of insurance enrolment for new employees and verification of insurance invoices.
- Assist with preparing confirmation assessment forms.
- Support HR administrative tasks and email communications.
Special Projects
- Assist in documenting and improving the Structured Internship Programme.
- Support the review and updates of the Malaysia Employee Handbook.
- Assist in reviewing medical insurance schemes and employee benefits.
- Support HR initiatives related to benefits harmonization and regional HR projects.
