We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team.

1. Summary

- To fabricates prototype samples based on customer and engineer-provided specifications, ensuring accuracy and customer requirement compliance.

- As the Tooling Room PIC, needs to manage tooling maintenance, and service operations to support production efficiency.

You will play an important role in:-

1. Technical Knowledge & Skill Development

• Tooling Management: Learn about various tooling materials, maintenance procedures, and inventory control.

2. Predictive & Strategic Planning

• Data-Driven Decisions: Learn predictive maintenance and data analytics to optimize tooling lifespan.
• Process Improvement: Study Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency

3. Prototype Fabrication:

• Review engineering requests and specifications for prototype samples.
• Plan material usage, machine usage, tooling and ensure availability for fabrication.
• Allocate work priorities based on project deadlines.

4. Tooling Management:

• Maintain 6S in good condition for tooling room area.
• Perform daily tooling servicing to prevent production downtime.

5. Process Improvement:

• Evaluate efficiency in prototype fabrication and tooling operations.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in workflow and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct tooling room 6S activity improvement for tooling storage inventory

6. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Prototype Status Update: Progress reports on prototype fabrication, including pending, in progress, completed and etc
• Tooling Room Status: 6S Monitoring, pending tooling to service (External) and etc

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:-

• Previous internship experience or entry-level role in engineering, manufacturing, or related areas is preferred.
• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).

Technical

• Proficiency in CAD software for die design and layout (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Non-Technical

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
