The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily site operations to ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to project requirements. The role includes setting and monitoring site objectives, ensuring compliance with consultant and contractor instructions, and coordinating labour and equipment to complete projects on time and within schedule.
Responsibilities
- To assist the overall project implementation, site construction (interior fit-out) & renovation;
- To monitor sub-contractors’ work on site – work sequence, method of construction, and quality control;
- To carry out daily site co-ordination with sub-contractors for any new workers, logistics, and daily site report;
- To carry out calculation of quality based on construction drawings;
- To assist the project supervisor and project manager on the overall project implantation, site construction for the interior fit-out and renovation project assigned to you;
- Attend relevant and related weekly project meetings (if any);
- To coordinate and handle changes in project that could disrupt progress during project stage;
- Resolve all site matters with site management team, consultant, and sub-contractor;
- To liaise with main contractor, sub-contractors, consultants, suppliers, clients, and internal department to ensure all works are carried as per drawings and specification;
- Participate in site meeting, review inspection schedules, complete inspection checklist;
- Prepare and check documents such as method statements of works, materials submission, construction drawings and specifications to the relevant authorities;
- Must be willing to be stationed at outstation locations if required for project execution.
- Undertake other assigned tasks as required.
Requirements
- At least 2 - 5 years' working experience in the Construction, Interiors & Fit-Out/renovation industry or related field is required for this position.
- Candidate must have initiative, responsible, hardworking, reliable, can work independently or with minimum supervision.
- Must be willing and able to travel outstation as a required.
- Good knowledge in Interior Design & Fit-Out construction sequence of work.
- Self initiative / proactive / committed is needed.
