Primary Duties:

1. Design Mould Components: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mould parts and assemblies based on product specifications.

2. Troubleshoot Design Issues: Coordinate with the production planner and tool room team to resolve design-related operational issues.

3. Fabrication Support: Provide design support and clarification during the fabrication and modification of mould parts to ensure adherence to specifications.

4. Review & Modify Drawings: Review, revise, and optimize technical mould drawings.

Secondary Duties:

1. Documentation: Maintain accurate filing and documentation of all mould design activities, revisions, and part drawings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

1. Precision Design Work: Ability to create and inspect virtual designs using precision measurement concepts tools.

2. Mould Processing Knowledge: Understanding of how moulds are processed, repaired, and replaced to create practical, manufacturable designs.

3. Design & Modification: Strong ability to design new moulds and modify existing designs based on production feedback or requirements.

4. Injection Molding Knowledge: Solid understanding of injection molding processes and how design affects finished product requirements (e.g., draft angles, gate locations, cooling channels).

5. Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks for mould design, assembly, and detailing.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Tool & Die, Mould Design, or a related field.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
