Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of quality standards and inspection methods (visual, dimensional, functional tests).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, datasheets, and standards.
• Knowledge of calibration, measuring tools (Vernier caliper, processmeter, multimeter, etc.).
• For electrical knowledge in IP testing, insulation, continuity, and earthing.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspection of products/components.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards.
• Review and maintain quality documentation (QC reports, inspection records, FAT reports, ITPs).
• Support root cause analysis & corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities.
• Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), or client witness inspections.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients on quality matters.
• Ensure traceability of materials and components.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
• Good communication & report writing skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during FAT or urgent client projects.

Tools & Systems

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related fields).

Experience

• Typically 2–5 years in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or related engineering field.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, electrical panels, or hazardous area equipment is often preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001
