The 12-week internship program is designed to nurture future procurement and supply chain professionals through hands-on exposure to purchasing processes, supplier management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and reporting, while providing an introduction to the company’s operational workflow.
In the first month of the internship, interns will:
- Learn the basics of procurement, vendor selection, and purchasing cycles.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
- Update and maintain supplier and product databases.
- Support the team in processing purchase orders and verifying invoices.
- Familiarize with inventory systems and assist in stock monitoring.
In the second month of the internship, interns will:
- Assist in supplier communications and follow-ups on order status.
- Support logistics coordination for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Participate in quality checks of received goods and ensure compliance with purchase specifications.
- Assist with cost comparison and supplier performance evaluation.
- Learn how to handle discrepancies such as short shipments or damaged goods.
In the third month of the internship, interns will:
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and order tracking summaries.
- Support process improvement initiatives in procurement and logistics workflows.
- Assist in contract and tender documentation preparation.
- Learn how to negotiate with suppliers under supervision to secure favorable terms.
- Understand end-to-end supply chain coordination from purchase request to final delivery.
By the end of the internship, participants will have developed practical skills in procurement and logistics operations, gained hands-on experience in vendor and inventory management, and learned how to support a cost-effective and efficient supply chain process.
