Job description:

Location: Balakong Industrial Area

Actmax is a fast growing mechanical manufacturing company. Established in June 2021, we have expanded to operate 6 plants by now.

Key Responsibilities

• Packaging Design: Design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions for electronic and mechanical components used in internal manufacturing operations.
• Technical Drafting: Prepare precise packaging drawings, technical specifications, and 2D/3D prototypes using CAD tools.
• Material Selection: Support the evaluation and qualification of packaging materials (plastics, corrugated paper, foam) balancing cost, ESD protection, and sustainability.
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing packaging and handling methods to propose modifications that enhance floor efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize material waste.
• Testing & Validation: Support basic packaging testing activities to evaluate durability, drop performance, and handling stability.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all packaging designs comply with internal production logistics, safety guidelines, and labeling standards.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner closely with production, quality, and NPI engineering teams to resolve packaging-related issues on the manufacturing floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or a packaging design role. (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience will be considered).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ZW3D, or equivalent for engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, corrugated structures) and their general manufacturing/forming processes.
• Willingness to travel between localized manufacturing plants (within a 1–3km radius) when required.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
