Job description:

Location: Balakong Industrial Area

Actmax is a fast growing mechanical manufacturing company. Established in June 2021, we have expanded to operate 6 plants by now.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Analysis: Analyze manufacturing processes to identify structural opportunities for efficiency enhancement, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Floor Optimization: Optimize plant layout, material flow logistics, and workstation ergonomics within a high-volume metal stamping environment.
• Work Measurement: Conduct systematic time and motion studies to establish standard operation times and optimize manpower allocation.
• Downtime Reduction: Support cycle time optimization and Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) initiatives to minimize setup times.
• Cost & Yield Improvement: Assist in technical cost-saving projects, including scrap reduction, tooling enhancements, and die change optimization.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing projects to ensure process stability, high performance, and standard practice implementation.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering project documentation, capacity performance reports, and data-driven improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or metal stamping environment.
• Strong foundation in Lean manufacturing principles and work measurement techniques; Six Sigma certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel and technical presentation tools.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
