Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
6+ years of hands-on experience as a Performance Test Specialist, including test planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, and analysis.
Strong experience in performance testing frameworks and accelerators (e.g., LoadRunner Performance Center, JMeter, or equivalent), with the ability to design, enhance, and implement reusable frameworks.
Prior experience in banking, financial services, or insurance domains is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex performance findings in a clear, business-friendly manner.
Job Description
Provide E2E Performance testing / engineering solutions for various application / projects.
Ability to develop, design, and execute performance tests using LoadRunner or JMeter based on requirements and an understanding of the workload model.
Collect and analyze performance testing/engineering requirements for various applications, carry out workload analysis and develop performance test approach & plan.
Advise different testing needs such as performance, load or stress testing by understanding current application traffic.
Execute various performance test types (load/stress/endurance).
Monitor server/platform performance using tools like SiteScope and utilities like Windows Perfmon.
Prepare detailed status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.
Coordinate with multiple project stakeholders to ensure successful performance test delivery.
Drive continuous improvements in performance testing methodologies.
Experience in CI/CD Integrations like GIT or Jenkins. Good knowledge of GIT, or other version control systems.
Guide and mentor more junior team member by having occasional knowledge sharing session in order to increase the team technical competencies and product knowledge.
Functional/Automation testing knowledge using UFT or Selenium would be a plus.
