About the role

As an Engineer at JoonHee Micron Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in the company's Mechanical Engineering operations. This full-time position is based in Port Klang, Selangor, and will involve working with a dedicated team to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components to support the company's manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Support preparation and consolidation of cost tabulations for projects and customer quotations.

2. Gather, analyze, and organize cost-related data including materials, processes, and equipment.

3. Ensure tooling and amortized costs are accurately calculated, recorded, and incorporated into overall costing.

4. Liaise and coordinate with internal departments such as Engineering, Production, and Purchasing to obtain required information.

5. Assist in handling basic customer communications related to project details, documentation, and general inquiries.

6. Prepare and maintain reports, supporting documents, and records for projects and quotations.

7. Ensure all costing data and project documentation are consistently updated and maintained with accuracy.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

2. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or similar industry will be an added advantage.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with basic knowledge of cost analysis.

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.

5. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines.
