We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects within the banking and financial services domain. The role involves overseeing project planning, execution, delivery, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and security standards.

The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, banking domain knowledge, and experience delivering IT initiatives such as digital banking, core banking, payments, infrastructure, cybersecurity, regulatory, or system integration projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management

• Manage end-to-end IT project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and issues.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business users, senior management, vendors, and technical teams.
• Conduct project steering committee meetings and status updates.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communication effectively.

Banking & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure project delivery complies with banking regulations, security policies, and governance standards.
• Work closely with compliance, risk, audit, and cybersecurity teams.
• Support regulatory initiatives and reporting requirements where applicable.

Vendor & Resource Management

• Coordinate with external vendors, system integrators, and third-party service providers.
• Manage project resources, task allocation, and team performance.
• Track vendor deliverables and service quality.

Technical & Delivery Oversight

• Coordinate system implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and production rollout.
• Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Ensure proper documentation, change management, and knowledge transfer.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Escalate critical issues to management when necessary.
• Ensure proper incident and change management processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing banking or financial services projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master, or ITIL certification is an advantage.
