The Warehouse Lorry Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, raw materials, or finished products, primarily involving the pickup and delivery between company warehouses, production facilities, suppliers, and customer sites. This role requires adherence to strict traffic laws, vehicle maintenance schedules, delivery timelines, and accurate handling of delivery documentation to ensure goods are transported without damage or delay.

• Safe Transportation & Delivery: Operate commercial lorries/trucks (e.g., rigid or articulated vehicles) to transport goods according to assigned schedules and routes, prioritizing road safety and vehicle compliance at all times.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist warehouse personnel with the safe loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the cargo is properly secured, balanced, and protected from damage during transit.
• Documentation Control: Accurately verify and complete all necessary transport documentation, including delivery notes, consignment notes, customs forms, and internal transfer records. Ensure all paperwork is signed and returned appropriately.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (Daily Walk-Around Checks) to ensure the lorry is in good working order. Report any mechanical issues, defects, or required maintenance immediately to the Fleet Manager.
• Route Optimization: Utilize navigation tools and local knowledge to determine the most efficient routes, adhering to time-sensitive delivery windows and minimizing fuel consumption.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, weight restrictions, and mandated driving hours (e.g., driver fatigue regulations). Maintain a clean driving record and valid licenses.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers during pick-up and delivery, ensuring courteous service and accurate confirmation of goods received/delivered.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the superior.

Skills & Competencies:

Minimum of 2–3 years of proven, safe driving experience operating commercial goods vehicles (lorries/trucks) of the required tonnage or classification.

Experience in commercial logistics or bulk delivery is highly advantageous.

Certification / License Requirement:

Possess a valid and current Commercial Driving License appropriate for the class of vehicle being operated (e.g., Class E/H, GDL License in Malaysia).

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
