ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly driven and commercially minded Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to lead and scale our performance across online sales platforms including Shopee, Lazada, Zalora, and our brand website.
This role is responsible for:
- Driving revenue growth and profitability
- Planning and executing high-impact campaigns
- Managing product performance and pricing strategy
- Ensuring operational excellence across platforms
This is a business ownership role with direct impact on company revenue and running a high-performance digital storefront as a business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SALES & REVENUE MANAGEMENT (CORE)
- Own and drive monthly GMV targets across all marketplaces
- Monitor daily sales performance and take proactive action
- Identify high-performing SKUs and scale them
- React quickly to underperforming products
This role is accountable for top-line revenue performance.
2. CAMPAIGN & PROMOTION STRATEGY
Plan and execute major campaigns:
- Payday campaigns
- 9.9 / 10.10 / 11.11 / 12.12
- Festive campaigns (Raya, CNY, etc.)
Develop:
- Voucher strategies
- Product bundles
- Add-on deals
Align campaigns with:
- stock availability
- margin targets
- marketing initiatives
3. PRICING & PROFITABILITY CONTROL
- Develop pricing strategies for all SKUs
- Balance:
- volume growth
- profitability
- Monitor:
- platform fees
- discount levels
- voucher usage
- Ensure strong contribution margin after all costs
4. ADS & TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
- Oversee marketplace advertising performance
- Work with Ads Specialist to:
- optimise ROAS
- scale winning campaigns
- reduce wasted spend
- Align ads strategy with:
- product push priorities
- campaign timelines
5. PRODUCT PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Analyse SKU-level performance:
- sales
- conversion rates
- stock movement
- Identify:
- hero products
- slow-moving inventory
- opportunities for scaling
- Work closely with:
- Merchandising (stock & forecasting)
- Commercial / Product Strategy (push direction)
6. PLATFORM OPERATIONS OVERSIGHT
- Ensure all listings are:
- accurate
- optimised for SEO
- conversion-focused
- Work with Listing Team to:
- improve product titles
- enhance descriptions
- maintain PDP quality
- Maintain overall backend hygiene
7. ORDER FLOW & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Monitor order processing and fulfillment performance
- Ensure platform SLA compliance:
- shipping time
- response time
- Coordinate with:
- warehouse team
- customer service team
- Minimise:
- cancellations
- returns
- complaints
8. CROSS-DEPARTMENT ALIGNMENT
- Collaborate with:
- Livestream team
- Affiliate team
- Marketing team
- Merchandising team
- Ensure alignment between:
- product push strategy
- campaign direction
- stock availability
9. REPORTING & ANALYSIS
- Prepare:
- daily sales reports
- weekly performance summaries
- campaign analysis
- Analyse:
- sales trends
- conversion performance
- campaign ROI
- Provide actionable insights for improvement
10. TEAM MANAGEMENT (IF APPLICABLE)
- Manage:
- Listing Executives
- Ads personnel
- Set KPIs and expectations
- Ensure execution quality and accountability

- Net margin after ads, vouchers, and platform fees

- Cancellation rate
- Late shipment rate
- Listing accuracy and completeness
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience with Shopee and/or Lazada platforms
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical ability
- Experience in campaign planning and execution
- Understanding of pricing, promotions, and profitability
- Experience with marketplace ads (Shopee Ads, Lazada Ads)
- Familiarity with livestream and affiliate ecosystems
- Basic understanding of product positioning and consumer behavior
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
