Key Responsibilities of an Interior Designer:

• Client Consultation: Understanding client needs, preferences, and project requirements.
• Design Planning: Developing 2D and 3D design plans, mood boards, and visualizations.
• Space Planning: Creating layouts that optimize space utilization and functionality.
• Material Selection: Choosing appropriate and aesthetically pleasing materials for flooring, walls, fixtures, and furniture.
• Project Management: Managing timelines, budgets, and project implementation from conception to completion.
• Collaboration: Working closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
• Compliance: Ensuring designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Sourcing and Procurement: Finding suppliers and managing the procurement of materials and furniture.
• Presentations: Presenting design ideas and plans to clients.
• Budgeting and Cost Estimations: Developing and managing project budgets and cost estimates.
• Problem Solving: Addressing challenges that may arise during the design and construction process.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Required)

Experience:

• Interior design: 1 year (Preferred)
