Internship – Electrical Technician (Wireman)

Assist the electrical maintenance and technical team in carrying out electrical installation, wiring, troubleshooting, inspection, and maintenance works to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. The intern will gain practical exposure to electrical systems, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and site technical operations under the supervision of qualified technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in electrical wiring, installation, and maintenance works.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and routine inspection of electrical installations.
• Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in good condition.
• Assist in identifying electrical faults and reporting technical issues.
• Support documentation, maintenance records, and technical reports.
• Comply with workplace safety procedures and electrical safety regulations.
• Assist Wireman/Chargeman/Engineer in daily site operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and project support activities.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and maintenance practices.
• Willing to learn and work on-site.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices is an added advantage.
• Internship duration of at least 3 months (preferred).

Pay: RM500.00 per month
