Full job description
- Supervise and inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Supervise and guide housekeeping attendants in their daily duties.
- Assign daily room cleaning tasks and monitor staff productivity.
- Ensure staff follow proper grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.
- Conduct on-the-job training for housekeeping staff when necessary.
- Ensure housekeeping procedures and SOPs are followed consistently.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and report shortages.
- Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping.
- Ensure guest complaints related to cleanliness are addressed efficiently.
- Maintain professional communication with guests and other departments.
- Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status and priority cleaning.
- Work closely with Maintenance for repairs and upkeep of rooms and facilities.
- Ensure proper handling of lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Prepare housekeeping reports such as room inspection reports and staff attendance.
- Monitor housekeeping inventory and supplies.
- Assist in preparing duty rosters and work schedules.
- Ensure all rooms are properly cleaned and ready according to hotel standards before guest arrival.
- Report maintenance issues or damages to the maintenance team for prompt action.
