Responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of goods. This role ensures accurate handling of deliveries, proper documentation, and compliance with safety and operational standards while supporting logistics and warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Collection Operations
- Deliver goods, products, and materials to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes in coordination with the Logistics Admin to meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within the required timeframe.
- Collect defective goods (with supporting documents) and purchased items (with PO) when required.
2. Documentation & Cash Handling
- Ensure Delivery Orders (DO) are properly signed and stamped by customers upon delivery.
- Collect cash or cheque payments from customers (where applicable) and submit to Logistics Admin promptly for processing.
- Ensure all documents related to delivery and collection are complete and properly handled.
3. Loading, Inspection & Handling
- Check and verify goods against Delivery Notes before loading and delivery.
- Ensure correct quantity and condition of goods prior to dispatch.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods safely and properly.
- Handle goods carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
4. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
- Conduct routine inspection of the vehicle before and after trips.
- Report any maintenance issues or defects promptly.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Practice safe driving habits and ensure road safety at all times.
- Follow company procedures for delivery, handling, and reporting.
6. Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with Logistics Admin/ Assistant and warehouse team for daily operations.
- Be on standby for transportation or chauffeur duties during working hours if assigned.
7. Additional Duties
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and customer-related information.
- Represent the company in a professional manner during deliveries and interactions.
- Perform any other duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior or Management.
Requirements
- Valid driving license (GDL license required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of driving experience (lorry / delivery vehicle preferred)
- Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
