Job Title: Assistant Manager, AutomationJob Summary:

The Assistant Manager of Automation plays a crucial role in overseeing automated processes and systems within the organization. This position involves managing teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Assist in leading and mentoring a team of automation engineers and programmers to achieve project goals.
• Project Oversight: Collaborate with project managers to plan, execute, and monitor automation projects, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes to identify areas for automation and develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise in automation tools and technologies, supporting team members in troubleshooting and optimizing solutions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to ensure alignment and support for automation initiatives.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of automation efforts and report findings to senior management.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that automation processes comply with industry standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in automation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), and project management tools.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and development.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools

Work Environment:

• Typically works in an office environment, with opportunities for remote work; may involve collaboration with teams across different locations.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
