Hiring – Senior Software Engineer – Middleware (EAI)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Middleware (EAI) with strong hands-on experience in enterprise integration and middleware technologies. The role involves development, deployment, and production support for enterprise integration systems in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise integration solutions using middleware technologies
• Build and maintain message flows using Java and ESQL
• Work with IBM WebSphere MQ (WMQ) for messaging and queue management
• Develop and support integrations using IBM IIB / ACE
• Provide L2/L3 production support including incident handling and root cause analysis
• Support SIT, UAT, and Production deployments
• Monitor and troubleshoot middleware applications for performance and availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integration solutions
• Continuously improve middleware systems and integration processes

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere MQ (WMQ)
• Experience in IBM IIB / ACE (IBM Integration Bus / App Connect Enterprise)
• Good knowledge of ESQL and Java (Java Node)
• Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, JSON, XML, and JMS
• Knowledge of MQ scripting, queue configuration, and clustering
• Experience in L2/L3 Production Support environments
• Understanding of testing methodologies and deployment activities

Good to Have

• Experience with IBM DataPower
• Knowledge in C, C++, C#, or VB.NET
• Banking or financial services domain experience
• Familiarity with Eclipse or similar IDEs

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work in both development and production support environments
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Pay: RM2,479.92 - RM15,000.00 per month
