We're looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Accountant Intern to join our team in Semporna. This is a great opportunity for students pursuing accounting or a related business field to gain hands-on experience in financial management. You'll work directly with our accounting department and learn the day-to-day operations of a professional finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with data entry and maintaining financial records.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Help with daily bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable tasks.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial data.
• Assist in processing invoices and expense reports.
• Learn and apply basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Contribute to general administrative duties within the finance department.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn.
• Willing to be based in Semporna throughout the internship period.
• Knowing how to use accounting software, specifically Niagawan Plus.
