Sigmaschool is building a new kind of coding school for the AI era. We help beginners become job-ready software developers through hands-on projects, strong programming fundamentals, AI-assisted development workflows, and real-world career preparation.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Internto help us grow our reach, generate qualified leads, and build trust with people who are considering a career switch into tech. This role is not just about posting content or running ads.
You will help us build the growth engine for an education brand that is trying to change how people learn software development in the AI era.

What You’ll Work On
1. Content Marketing and Social Media
You will help create and distribute content across channels such as:
- TikTok
- Instagram
- LinkedIn
- YouTube Shorts
- Email
- Blog / SEO
- Website pages
- WhatsApp nurture campaigns
Content may include:
- Career-switch stories
- AI and job market content
- Coding education explainers
- Student success content
- Founder-led content
- Bootcamp content
- Masterclass promotions
- Lead magnet campaigns
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Short-form video scripts
- Carousel posts
- Landing page copy
The goal is not just “engagement.”
The goal is to create content that builds trust and drives qualified leads.
2. Lead Generation and Funnel Execution
You will support campaigns that move people from awareness to application.
This may include:
- Free masterclass campaigns
- AI career roadmap campaigns
- AI job risk checklist campaigns
- Free coding prep campaigns
- Webinar registration campaigns
- Application campaigns
- WhatsApp nurture flows
- Email sequences
- Retargeting campaigns
- Landing page improvements
You should understand that marketing is not only about reach.
It is about moving the right people to the next step.
3. Paid Ads Support
You may help support paid campaigns on platforms such as:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads
- TikTok Ads
- YouTube Ads
This may include:
- Writing ad copy
- Preparing creatives
- Testing hooks
- Reviewing ad performance
- Coordinating with designers/editors
- Suggesting new angles
- Tracking leads and conversions
- Improving landing page conversion
You do not need to be a senior media buyer, but you should understand the basics of performance marketing.
4. SEO and Long-Term Organic Growth
We want to build a stronger organic growth engine.
You may help with:
- Keyword research
- Blog outlines
- SEO content briefs
- Programme pages
- Comparison pages
- Career guides
- Local Malaysia-focused content
- AI career content
- Updating existing website pages
- Internal linking
- Search-friendly content structure
The goal is to build compounding traffic and trust over time.
5. Campaign Planning and Execution
You will help turn business goals into marketing campaigns.
For example:
- Fill seats for a masterclass
- Generate applications for the bootcamp
- Launch a new lead magnet
- Promote student outcomes
- Build awareness around AI-native software development
- Increase qualified organic leads
- Improve show-up rates and application rates
You will need to think through:
- Audience
- Offer
- Hook
- Channel

6. Work With Content, Design, and Admissions
You will work with different parts of the team.
This includes:
- Working with designers on creatives
- Working with video editors on short-form content
- Working with admissions to understand lead quality
- Working with education team to understand student stories
- Working with product team to promote Sigmo and student learning experiences
- Working with founder content and personal brand materials
This role requires strong communication and follow-through.
