We are looking for a passionate, patient, and creative Special Needs Educator / Support Staff to join our Special Needs Education Center. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and young adults with special needs to support their learning, communication, behavior, independence, and daily living skills in a safe and encouraging environment.
Our children age group 3-15 years

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging learning activities for students with special needs.
• Create and prepare creative teaching materials tailored to different learning abilities and styles.
• Provide coaching and guidance in:
• Academic learning
• Behavioral development
• Communication and speech practice
• Social and life skills
• Vocational and skill-based activities
• Support students in improving independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and supervisors.
• Maintain a positive, patient, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each student’s individual goals.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and individuals with special needs.
• Creative and resourceful in designing teaching materials and activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, responsible, and able to manage behavior positively.
• Experience in special education, early childhood education, psychology, therapy support, or related fields is an advantage.
• Ability to teach or assist in:
• Speech and communication activities
• Gardening activities
• Baking and cooking sessions
• Hands-on life skill programs
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Preferred Qualities

• Energetic and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to students’ individual needs.
• Basic knowledge of sensory activities and behavior management is an advantage.

Pay: From RM1,900.00 per month
