JOB DESCRIPTION – COMMIS CHEF

Position:

- Commis Chef

Job Summary:

The Commis Chef is responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking according to company SOPs, and maintaining cleanliness and food quality standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing ingredients before daily operations begin
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established standards and recipes
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area at all times
• Store ingredients and food items properly and safely
• Assist in monitoring kitchen stock and inventory levels
• Follow kitchen SOPs and food safety procedures
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Experience in kitchen or F&B industry is an advantage
• Hardworking, disciplined, and able to follow instructions well
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
