A general Human Resources (HR) Admin Intern supports the HR and office management teams with day-to-day operations.
- Data Management & Admin: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records in the HR database.
- Attendance & Payroll: Track daily employee attendance, leaves, and assist in compiling data for payroll processing.
- Employee Engagement: Assist in organizing internal staff events, team-building activities, and employee communications.
- General Clerical Duties: Handle incoming HR inquiries, manage filing systems (both digital and physical), and process claims or allowances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office management skills is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee data.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with staff and candidates.
