Position: Quantity Surveyor
Located : Serdang, Seri Kembangan

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

• Perform quantity take-offs from technical drawings and specifications.

• Assist in preparing tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and other pricing schedules.

• Analyze and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes.

• Support the senior quantity surveyor in monitoring and tracking project costs against budgets.

• Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts.

• Conduct site visits to assess progress and collect data for cost control.

• Maintain accurate project records, including material logs and payment certificates.

• Prepare periodic cost reports for review by senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.

• Familiarity with quantity take-off software (e.g., AutoCAD) is an advantage.

• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

• Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates and project documentation.

• Proactive and willing to learn new approaches to problem-solving.

• Internship experience in construction or cost estimation is a plus but not mandatory.

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.

• Team-oriented with a willingness to adapt to project requirements.

• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays if necessary.

• Willingness to travel to different job sites as required.
