Lead and drive sales activities to achieve company revenue targets and business growth objectives.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned accounts, industries, and territories.
Identify new customers, business opportunities, and industry segments through networking, prospecting, and cold calls.
Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, proposals, and provide commercial and technical clarifications.
Work closely with customers to ensure a clear understanding of the company’s products, solutions, and technical capabilities through presentations, demonstrations, and consultation.
Collaborate with internal teams including technical support, operations, and management to deliver effective customer solutions.
Lead complex sales negotiations, contract discussions, and closing activities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, especially within the semiconductor sector.
Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and timely internal and external reporting.
Mentor and guide junior sales engineers or sales team members where and when required.
Ensure timely follow-up on all sales leads, field visits, and customer issues.
Establish and strengthen the company’s sales network and product/service recognition in the market.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate qualification, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Material Science), Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of sales experience, business development in Electronics and Semiconductor Industry.
Candidates with strong working experience in semiconductor factories or semiconductor-related industries will have a significant advantage.
Strong technical knowledge and industry exposure in semiconductor products, materials, or services is highly preferred.
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets with minimum supervision.
Strong relationship-building, influencing, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent presentation and customer engagement capabilities.
Ability to work effectively under uncertainty, rapid changes, and aggressive timelines.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support junior team members.
Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively for customer visits and business development activities.
Results-driven, achievement-oriented, and capable of managing key customer accounts independently.
