• To develop, and test mechanical systems, and products based on project.
• Create drawings by using software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks). · Ensure designs meet performance, quality, safety and regulatory standards while optimizing manufacturability.
• Conduct process studies to assess current design and production processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to enhance processes and reduce inefficiency.
• Ensure projects are completed within specified deadlines and budgets. · Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or performance, focus on materials, production methods, and labor costs.
• Perform process, cycle time and yield study. · Implement testing protocols to validate mechanical systems.
• Analyze test results, identify potential issues, and modify designs to address any deficiencies.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates. · Jig and fixture development.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including technical drawings, design specifications, test reports, and process manuals.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for Management Team.
• Identify opportunities for improving design processes and product performance through innovative solutions.
• Documentation and updating of PCP.
