Job Overview
The IT Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems department, including business applications, hardware and software maintenance, network administration, IT infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery, and user support. The role plans, implements, and maintains IT systems and processes to ensure reliable technology operations, while coordinating effectively with IT support teams in Sankyu Southeast Asia and Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, monitor, upgrade, repair, and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, computers, and related equipment.
• Maintain network servers and associated hardware, software, services, and settings.
• Create, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions.
• Write technical support documentation for network systems and applications.
• Provide responsive technical support on hardware, software, network, and other IT-related matters to ensure timely resolution and user satisfaction.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, and internet connectivity.
• Ensure that all IT systems are operating correctly and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure that all IT systems are secure and comply with data protection regulations.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 Exchange Online to strengthen email security, support data protection, and ensure reliable messaging services.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and implement IT strategies, plans and ad-hoc projects.
• Evaluate IT-related business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development and implementation of practical solutions.
• Use AI tools effectively to improve work efficiency, streamline IT support activities, and enhance productivity.
• Any other duties assigned by immediate superior.

Qualification for IT Executive:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of working experience in IT support or a related field is preferred; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience and technical knowledge in hardware, software, and network systems.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to learn, set up, configure, implement, and deploy new hardware and software, including business solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 platform administration will be an added advantage.
• Experience with collaboration tools, such as Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Experience with Windows workstation (Windows 11 Pro), server, and virtual machine.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability to resolve issues effectively.
• High standard of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.
• Proactive, service-oriented, and able to support reliable IT operations in a fast-paced business environment.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
