Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze product costing, including raw materials, direct labour, overheads, and manufacturing costs.
• Perform standard costing and actual costing analysis and identify significant variances.
• Analyze material price, usage, labour, and production overhead variances.
• Review and update product cost structures based on changes in material prices, production processes, and overhead costs.
• Prepare costing for new products, customer quotations, and new projects.
• Analyze product profitability, gross margins, and contribution margins.
• Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Prepare cost variance reports and provide explanations for significant fluctuations.
• Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Sales, and QA to obtain accurate costing information.
• Monitor raw material prices and assess their impact on product costs and profitability.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and cost projections.
• Prepare monthly management reports focusing on cost performance, profitability, and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Support month-end closing and ensure costing data is accurate and properly recorded.
• Provide financial and costing analysis to Management to support pricing and business decisions.
• Perform other financial analysis and ad hoc duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Management Accounting, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills and able to work with different departments.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
