Job Purpose

To develop and manage effective production or material plans that ensure timely availability of materials, optimal use of resources, and on-time delivery of products while minimizing costs and inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer orders.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure schedule adherence.
• Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment or production orders when necessary.
• Analyze material and capacity constraints and adjust plans to avoid bottlenecks or delays.
• Maintain planning parameters (e.g., lead times, safety stock levels, MOQ) in ERP systems.
• Ensure timely issuance of work orders or purchase requisitions to support operations.
• Track progress against plan and resolve any planning-related issues (e.g., material shortages, delays).
• Prepare and analyze reports on production performance, forecast accuracy, and capacity utilization.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to confirm delivery commitments.
• Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of planning experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and planning tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
