1. Productivity (Daily Operations Support)

• Assist the Supervisor in executing daily packing plans to meet targets.
• Lead and coordinate packing line activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor output, line efficiency, and downtime in real time.
• Ensure operators follow standard work procedures to maximize productivity.
• Quickly address minor issues on the line to avoid delays.
• Report performance and issues to the Supervisor.

2. Safety (Operational Safety Compliance)

• Ensure team members follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Conduct safety checks on the packing line and work area.
• Immediately report hazards, unsafe acts, or incidents to the Supervisor.
• Guide team members on safe work practices.
• Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.

3. Quality (Process Control)

• Ensure packing activities meet required quality standards.
• Check product labeling, sealing,seaming coding, and packing accuracy.
• Perform routine in-process checks and highlight any deviations.
• Segregate and report defective or non-conforming products.
• Work closely with QA/QC and Supervisor to resolve quality issues.

4. GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)

• Ensure team follows GMP requirements at all times.
• Enforce personal hygiene and proper gowning standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of packing lines, tools, and environment.
• Complete required documentation (checklists, record, SAP) accurately.
• Support audit readiness and compliance activities.

5. Team Coordination

• Act as the first point of contact for packing operators on the floor.
• Assign tasks and guide team members during the shift.
• Assist Supervisor to train new operators on packing procedures and standards.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance at line level.
• Escalate manpower or performance issues to the Supervisor.

6. Machine & Line Support

• Ensure packing machines are running as per standard settings.
• Assist in line setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
• Report machine breakdowns promptly to Supervisor/Maintenance.
• Help reduce downtime through quick response and coordination.

7. Material Management & Receiving

• Raw Material Oversight: Lead the team in receiving and verifying raw materials from the warehouse, ensuring correct quantities and specifications before processing.
• Inventory Control: Monitor floor stock levels to prevent production delays and ensure a "First-In-First-Out" (FIFO) flow of ingredients.
• Waste Reduction: Oversee precise weighing and dispensing to minimize raw material/in coming variance

8. SAP & Documentation

• System Accuracy: Perform and verify SAP transactions related to material consumption (BOM), batch creation, and job order closures.
• Traceability: Ensure all manual batch records and process logs are completed accurately and in real-time for audit readiness.

Are you the one?

• Minimum qualification of a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia. Preferably Diploma holder .
• Minimum 3 years experience. For SPM qualification, at least 5 years’ experience in related field.
• Possess good leadership, organizing and supervision skill.
• Hand on experience on HACCP and GMP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
