Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor subcontractor (subcon) production activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
• Prepare and maintain subcontractor production schedules based on customer requirements and production priorities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on production progress, material availability, delivery schedules, and outstanding orders.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and follow up on any production delays, quality issues, or delivery discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal departments, including Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service, to ensure smooth planning and material flow.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of materials sent to and received from subcontractors.
• Ensure subcontractor production and delivery schedules are aligned with the company's overall production plan.
• Identify potential production bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare and update planning reports, subcontractor status reports, and delivery schedules.
• Assist other Planning team members with production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and other planning-related activities when required.
• Perform any other duties or ad hoc tasks assigned by the superior or management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in production planning, subcontractor coordination, or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of production planning, material control, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing production priorities.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
• A team player who is willing to assist other Planning team members whenever required.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal departments and external subcontractors.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
