Job Overview
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to support commercial planning and business performance across the fragrance and flavour business. The role will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to analyse business information, identify trends, and provide insights that support day-to-day commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, product, customer, and market data to identify business trends and opportunities.
• Prepare regular commercial reports, performance summaries, and management presentations.
• Support pricing reviews, sales planning, and commercial forecasting activities.
• Monitor sales performance against budgets, targets, and business plans.
• Work with sales and marketing teams to evaluate customer and product performance.
• Consolidate and maintain commercial data from different internal sources.
• Assist with market and competitor analysis to support business planning.
• Identify changes in sales patterns and provide clear insights to relevant teams.
• Support the preparation of business cases and commercial proposals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects related to business growth and operational improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in commercial analysis, business analysis, sales operations, market research, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and business data.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, chemicals, fragrances, flavours, or other related industries will be an advantage.
