About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to manage both compliance and operational accounting functions. This role covers statutory reporting, audit/tax schedules, and daily accounting operations (AR/AP, invoicing, group reporting). The candidate ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax laws.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and prepare audit/tax schedules
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable functions
• Ensure invoices and payment vouchers are processed accurately
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly group reporting
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulators
• Monitor accounting data and produce accurate financial reports
• Improve systems and procedures, recommending corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, tax laws, and company policies

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in accounting/audit
• Knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws
• Detail-oriented with good interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and handle documentation
