Job Description
- Act as the key interface between production and engineering teams, converting operational requirements into practical engineering solutions.
- Support manufacturing readiness activities for new product introductions across the manufacturing network.
- Assist in developing and implementing plant technology strategies and improvement plans.
- Analyze manufacturing processes, workflows, and production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Conduct gap analyses and develop solutions to improve manufacturing performance.
- Plan, manage, and execute manufacturing improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Drive initiatives to optimize material flow, productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
- Manage the development and improvement of plant fixed assets and equipment.
- Establish, maintain, and improve manufacturing standards, specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to quality, operational, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to share and adopt manufacturing best practices.
- Monitor project outcomes and ensure achievement of targeted business benefits.
- Contribute to company objectives through the achievement of individual performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Support investment evaluations and contribute to decisions related to manufacturing technology and equipment sourcing.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, or project management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to develop effective improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and ERP systems is an advantage.
