Job Summary:

As a front bar/barista, you will be the face of the cafe, responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and prepare customer orders, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front bar area
• Ensure stock levels for milk, coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies
• Handle cash and card transactions using a POS system
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage wait times and workflow during busy periods
• Upsell or suggest menu items when appropriate
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality drinks
• Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, or holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
