JOB DESCRIPTION

Do purchasing and issuance of Purchase Order for
- material
- child parts
- machine/equipment
- general purchase parts and other

• Develop with existing suppliers and do sourcing new potential suppliers. Conduct factory audit for new and potential suppliers.
• Liaise with suppliers on price negotiation, quotation, determine deliver order period and solve outstanding orders, forecast preparation.
• Carry out effectively cost down activities
• Control issuance of material especially child part and purchase part
• Implement JIT and FIFO for prudent minimal stock.
• Control the usage of packing material, consumable item and external exporter.
• Liaise with custom dept on Sales Tax (CJ5)
• Monitor vendor Grading Performance
• Liaise with related department on new parts development, parts improvement, quality matter and new inquiry, stock status info, critical parts
• Liaise with account department on the submission of DO and invoices for payment purpose

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field is an added advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, quotation, and price negotiation.
• Familiarity with inventory control, JIT, FIFO, and cost reduction activities.
• Knowledge of customs and Sales Tax matters is an added advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate with different departments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willing to conduct supplier visits or factory audits when required.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transportation.

Job Type: New-Grad

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
