Key Responsibilities
- Safety Compliance & Monitoring: Conduct daily site inspections to identify work hazards, assess risks, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (DOSH/JKKP) and internal safety policies.
- Risk Management & Audits: Assist in formulating and implementing Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) protocols and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Toolbox Meetings & Training: Conduct daily toolbox talks, deliver safety inductions for new workers/subcontractors, and promote site safety awareness.
- Incident Investigation: Document and report workplace incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Documentation & Coordination: Maintain all OSH logs, statutory safety records, permit-to-work (PTW) forms, and coordinate directly with site managers, engineers, and local authority inspectors.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Experience Level: Open to both fresh graduates and experienced candidates.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and proficiency in basic safety report writing and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications / Added Value
- Valid Yellow Book registration (Site Safety Supervisor - SSS registered with DOSH).
- OSH Coordinator certification recognized by DOSH.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR, Working at Height, Scaffolding Inspection, Authorised Gas Tester).
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
