Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

• Oversee daily spa readiness, ensuring treatment rooms, equipment and product displays are clean and stocked before each shift.
• Manage bookings, check-ins and guest feedback to maintain a calm, consistent guest journey.
• Standardise treatment steps and monitor quality so every visit meets our service standards and guest expectations.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and follow up to capture learning for continuous improvement.

Team Leadership & Training

• Schedule rosters, approve leave and maintain coverage to keep operations smooth across shifts.
• Plan and deliver short, practical trainings on treatments, hygiene and consultative selling for therapists and front desk.
• Coach team members with on-floor guidance and regular performance conversations to grow skills and confidence.
• Support recruitment decisions and help build a balanced, service-focused team.

Business & Administration

• Manage stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages while controlling product costs.
• Perform cash reconciliation, generate daily reports and support basic budgeting and simple P&L monitoring.
• Work with marketing to implement seasonal packages and track promotion performance with clear metrics.
• Use booking and POS data to identify trends and recommend operational improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years in spa or hospitality roles such as assistant manager, senior therapist or supervisor.
• Diploma or certificate in beauty therapy, hospitality or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven exposure to on-floor operations, rostering and basic financial tracking is required.
• Experience working directly with guests and therapists in a service environment is expected.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Practical knowledge of spa treatments and product usage, able to advise guests and guide staff.
• Comfortable with appointment booking systems and POS terminals for smooth check-in and sales processing.
• Basic inventory management and stock ordering experience to maintain supply continuity.
• Ability to read simple sales and performance reports to support daily decisions.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Calm, supportive leadership with the ability to motivate a small team and manage shift pressures.
• Strong organisational skills and multitasking ability to balance bookings, cash handling and staff needs.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation, polite and patient with guests and colleagues.
• Positive attitude toward coaching and practical skills development for the team.
