About Our Client

An organisation in the Retail industry located in Malaysia.

Job Description

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Manage journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting any variances.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and tasks within the accounting and finance department.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • 5 to 7 years experience in MNC, Audit
  • Preferably candidates with experience in Retail or Consumer Goods industry
  • Knowledge of SAP/SAP One Stream /Backline
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and financial reporting standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
