Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Officer at our gym, you’ll be the friendly face that members and visitors see first, setting the tone for an amazing experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

You’ll deliver exceptional customer service while keeping our daily operations running smoothly. Most importantly, you’ll help create a welcoming, positive, and safe environment where every member feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their fitness goals.

Your role isn’t just about service, it’s about building relationships and making our gym feel like a second home.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly smile, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
• Manage membership check-ins, registrations, and renewals efficiently and accurately.
• Respond to inquiries promptly, providing clear and helpful information about our facilities, classes, and services.
• Address member concerns professionally and escalate matters to management when necessary.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, class bookings, and guided gym tours for prospective members.
• Handle payments and transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Uphold gym policies while ensuring members follow health and safety guidelines.
• Provide administrative support to gym staff and trainers when required.
• Monitor and replenish retail items and promotional materials as needed.
• Play an active role in fostering a positive, energetic, and motivating gym environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles, ideally within a fitness, health, or wellness environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all backgrounds.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor that makes members feel welcome.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with membership or booking systems.
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Passion for health, fitness, and promoting a positive lifestyle is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
